Farah Abdel-Jawad • fma42@drexel.edu
Farah Abdel-Jawad is an aspiring Architectural Engineer at Drexel University who has a strong passion towards integrating innovative sustainability and humanitarianism into her major. She believes that through her love for architectural designs and the application of science and critical thinking skills, she can utilize her degree to help several global issues our world is struggling with in the 21st century like global warming, food insecurity, refugee crisis and healthcare. In her free time, Farah enjoys painting, writing articles, playing tennis and going on hunts for the best tea shop in the Philadelphia region.
Victoria Allen • vea32@drexel.edu
Victoria Allen is pursuing an Environmental Engineering degree with a minor in Geoscience at Drexel University. She is very interested in environmental protection and restoration in addition to water quality, geology, percolation, and sustainable design. She hopes to use her degree to work towards a more sustainable future and to mitigate the harm that society does to the environment. Victoria also enjoys doing math, especially calculus, coding, hiking, and kayaking in her free time.
Laura Machuca is an aspiring Environmental Engineer at Drexel who is interested in creating sustainable designs that help reduce the amount of waste that a community produces. She is driven by the multiple ways in which she can make the world a healthier place, whether it is renewable energy, implementing Passive Housing, or simply finding better ways to avoid pollution. Additionally, she is fascinated by the logistics that accompany mathematically calculating the opportune material, resources, and work costs. She wants to use that information to help her find the most effective way to spend money and help the environment.

Micah is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering with a minor in Product Design at Drexel University. He enjoys using math and problem solving to provide innovative solutions to real-world challenges and has a passion for inspiring and equipping the next generation of engineers and designers by designing toys that promote learning, creativity, and ingenuity.
